Russell J. Parker

Russ Parker is an extreme specialist in the application of the HP/Peregrine products AssetCenter and Connect-It. Russ joined Peregrine Systems in 1999 where he was the lead Engineer in Peregrine Support for AssetCenter until 2003 when he left and began to consult independently.

In addition to using his general business consulting skills to help clients address their IT Asset Management needs, Russ is acknowledged as one of the best AssetCenter technical resources in the world. For example, Russ served as Peregrine Systems’ chosen technical advisor for such clients as IBM Global Services, Peregrine’s biggest partner. Russ has been involved with numerous standard implementations and upgrades; and, has helped clients adapt AssetCenter to create innovative solutions outside the normal ITAM space. Russ is uniquely talented at sharing his specialized knowledge and makes a point of empowering his clients to maintain their systems without a dependence on additional consulting.

Russ, founder of Minerva Enterprises, has been helping companies solve their Asset and Matériel Management problems since 1995. His experience has ranged from the design and implementation of warehouse management systems for Pinnacle Automation and their clients to the management of information technology hardware and software assets for Peregrine Systems and theirs.

He has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego.

Russ currently resides in Sacramento, CA with his wife and two children.
