Careers
Minerva Enterprises makes an unusual effort to identify and recruit the very best person for every job. Although our activities are measured in dollars, we select our people one by one. In a service business, we know that without the best people, we cannot be the best firm.
We are always accepting inquiries from individuals experienced in implementing the products that make up HP Software Service Management Center and HP Change and Configuration Management Center.
We are also looking for individuals with experience with Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager 2007 and constituent products.
Please contact us for more information about our current needs.
What we offer:
- The salary range is open and based solely on your consultant skills.
- The remuneration package is a base salary with bonus based upon performance.
- Individuals on our staff may reside anywhere in the U.S. Our practice marketing focus is in the Western and Central U.S. Clients come to us, however, from all across North America and we have international client engagements.
- We expect our consultants will need to travel 25% - 50% of their time. Travel will vary depending on the client and the project phase. We are committed to working with our clients to achieve a solution with which they can achieve sustained value and we feel that one must be onsite with the client team when discussing policy and process issues. On the other hand, we feel that technical work can, largely, be done offsite. We make extensive use of remote collaboration technologies.

What we look for:
We hire people with outstanding capabilities and potential in five areas that are critical to our day-to-day work:
Problem Solving. Our consultants help IT leaders solve tough and urgent problems. You must have a practical sense of what works in complex organizations and you must be able to apply the analytical force necessary to add value.
Achievement. We help our clients succeed by consistently adding value. This requires a consistent application of energy, determination, and good judgment – particularly when working with many stakeholders under tight deadlines.
Personal Impact. We work closely with a wide range of people in their daily jobs. We need strong communication and facilitation skills – particularly when addressing groups with conflicting points of view. You have to be adept at building professional, trusting relationships with clients to earn their participation and support.
Leadership. We serve our clients by making their experience better and their jobs easier. Our clients seek us out to provide them with thought leadership and technical leadership in their efforts within our areas of expertise. We believe we need to assist our clients in building consensus and commitment; facilitating client learning; and, improving organizational effectiveness.
Technology and Good Practice. Each individual must have a thorough grounding, education and experience, in the applicable technology and best practices.
